The cultural era demands literacy in classical and modern cultures, creative cultural production, and the ability to give objective cultural critiques. Dept. of Theology and Doxology
Department of Doxology is an academic discipline aimed at training dedicated Christian students with innate spirituality and faith in God into ministers. Through four years of communal training, students will learn to live awestruck in God’s ways. The program consists of intensive studies on doxological arts, training experts in the field of ministry, pastorship, missionary, worshipping, and worship leading, in this age of robust culture and arts.

The Department of English Language and Culture does its best to educate its students with practical English, in this global age where English has become the essential and practical tool of communication. Based on this fact, the depart-ment aims to balance its teachings with in-depth studies of the language and literature. Moreover, in response to the re-cently growing need for TESOL and translation/interpretation, the department offers both basic and intensive courses of them for students to explore the field, which may help them in search for employment after graduation. The department’s ultimate objective is to contribute to the global community by educating and training students with practi-cal education of the language itself, and further explore the academic excellence of English, English literature, TESOL, and translation/interpretation.

The Department of Japanese Language and Culture educates and trains the future professionals who will lead the way with one of Korea’s neighboring countries, Japan. The department currently executes various international exchange programs: it has sister-relationships with four universities in Japan, and with two of them, JJ University has joined dual degree agreements. This allows outstanding students to immediately find employment in Japan, in Japanese companies. JJ University boasts both the highest and the largest of the number of sister schools and exchange students in the entire country.

Dept. of Webtoon Contents
At the Department of Korean Language and Literature, we aim to educate and train students to become individuals with expert knowledge and capabilities by systematically educating the Korean language and literature. The department is divided into three major parts: Korean Classics, Practical Korean, and Digital Korean. Not only the department engages students with traditional Korean, but also in literature writing, essay writing, Korean for foreigners, cultural contents planning and storytelling, etc., thus cultivating creative experts with knowledge and integrity with comprehensive cover-ages from analogue to digital.

At the Department of Korean Language and Literature, we aim to educate and train students to become individuals with expert knowledge and capabilities by systematically educating the Korean language and literature. The department is divided into three major parts: Korean Classics, Practical Korean, and Digital Korean. Not only the department engages students with traditional Korean, but also in literature writing, essay writing, Korean for foreigners, cultural contents planning and storytelling, etc., thus cultivating creative experts with knowledge and integrity with comprehensive cover-ages from analogue to digital.
