  • The object of BlackJack game is to get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over 21. If a hand goes over 21, it is called a "bust." and you lose your wager. In Blackjack, Jacks, Queens, Kings and 10s count as 10 while an Ace may be played as either 1 or 11. All other cards are played at face value.
  • When you receive your first two cards, you may choose to "stand", "hit", "surrender" or "double down." To "stand" means you feel you are close enough to 21 and do not wish to receive any additional cards; this is indicated by waving off with your hand. If you wish to receive another card, you can "hit" by tapping \ or scratching the table behind your wager with your finger. If you choose to surrender, the dealer will take half of your wager. Double down allows you to make an additional bet equal to your original wager after receiving your first 2 cards. You will then receive only one more card and cannot hit aterward.
  • If your total is closer to 21 than the dealer, you win and are paid an amount equal to your original wager. If your hand is less than the dealer's, you lose. If the dealer's hand "busts", you win as well. Ties are a standoff or "push," and your bet remains on the table. If your initial two cards total 21 - specifically an Ace with a 10, Jack, Queen, or King - you have a Blackjack, which is paid at 3 to 2.
